Overview
Teenagers Jonas and Casey lead desperate lives in the Great Lakes region, both coming from broken and abusive homes. They meet when Casey and her father Wayne, a police sergeant, move to town and become Jonas' new neighbors. A strong friendship between Jonas and Casey soon blossoms to romance, but Casey's father disapproves. What seems like a typical coming-of-age romance quickly turns into a crime thriller as Jonas and Casey learn of Wayne's criminal activities, and the two of them fight for each other and for their freedom.
