Overview
When Buddha sends a traveling monk to regain the ancient scriptures of their faith, the monk inadvertently releases the spirit of the Monkey King. The accident becomes the monk's salvation when he discovers that an evil spirit has been sent to keep him from completely his journey and he is in need of help and protection in order to finish his task. Having been freed by the monk, the Monkey King is forced to escort the monk and ensure the holy man's safety in order to save his own world from the same evil spirit.
