After the assassination of JFK, Lyndon B Johnson is now president. He struggles to continue JFK's work and pass the Civil Rights Act which JFK created to give all people equal voting, public facility, and education access. To do this he must go up against significant opposition, including from within his own party. Along the way, viewers will see LBJ as he truly was: his temper, his language, and his personal motivations.
