In the spring of 1996, an international group of climbers begins the incredibly challenging task of climbing Mt. Everest. The group spends a significant amount of time preparing for the difficult journey, and then prepares on their quest to reach the peak of the mountain. Along the route, the climbers face many treacherous issues including a terrible blizzard, huge avalanches, slippery ice walls and a lack of oxygen. Eventually, the mission becomes a success but the climbers must still return back down the mountain to their base camp. |
