Overview
The Song reveals the dark side of unexpected fame and creative success. Jed King has a famous father and has always struggled to maintain his own independent identity. He writes a song for his wife that becomes a huge hit, but ironically this song threatens his marriage. He is tempted to be unfaithful to his wife, as other women are so taken by the song he wrote for her. He begins to question his resentment toward his father in light of his own similar choices. His entire life is disrupted by the one thing he thought would make him happy.
