Overview
Lance Barton is a struggling black comedian whose thoughts are firmly on the here and now as he tries to make the big time. Thanks to a clumsy angel, he finds himself in Heaven before his time, and because it was an error on the celestial end of things, he is allowed to return to Earth. However, the body he ends up in is a wealthy white businessman. When people see Lance now, they see an elderly man whose witty repartee doesn't gel with his appearance or his previously curmudgeonly ways. Lance has a golden opportunity now to use this man's resources in a generous manner and improve his own chances of being allowed to stay in Heaven upon his return, which hopefully isn't soon.
