Overview
Frank Morrison is a boat builder who watches his ex-wife Susan marry a wealthy businessman, Rick Barnes. Caught in the middle of this relationship triangle is Frank and Susan's 12-year-old son Danny, who doesn't like the fact that his mom is getting remarried. Feeling clearly uneasy about his new step-father, Danny leaves the house and hides out in Rick's SUV, only to be a later witness to Rick's murder of a business associate. Danny tells Frank about the murder, and Frank takes the information to the police. Because of Rick's upstanding status in the community, he's not charged with a crime, forcing Frank to investigate further, discover Rick's nefarious past and ultimately save Susan and Danny from the criminal that Rick turns out to be.
