Overview
Recent college grad Amy is in a state of indecision when her poetry degree fails to yield fantastic career options. Looming student loan payments make her situation dire. Frustrated, she takes a job at an adult toy store where she befriends co-worker Alex, a man with an equally uncertain future. While developing broadened real world knowledge at her new job, Amy fixates on Rat Billings, a reclusive writer who has moved to the area. Convincing him to award her a mentorship working as his assistant at Syracuse University becomes a goal she pursues tenaciously.
