Elise is a lady who is very attached to her religion. She grew up in a religious family and her beliefs are very strong and a part of everything that she does. Didier did not get raised in a religious family and he decides that he will take the route of being an atheist. Despite their deeply seated differences, Elise and Didier meet and fall madly in love. They get married and then they have a daughter that they both love dearly. But when their daughter gets very ill, Elise and Didier's religious beliefs clash and the two must find a way to handle their differences or else they may lose their daughter. The couple refuses to budge, but something has to give or else the girl may die. |
