Overview
James Bond is back in another espionage adventure in "Diamonds Are Forever". His current assignment is to locate the culprit who has been smuggling diamonds from South African mines, unusual as the gems are not reappearing to be sold. Teaming up with Tiffany Case, a diamond smuggler as beautiful as she is deadly, James traces the diamonds to an already familiar foe. Ernst Stavro Blofeld has returned to utilize his stolen jewels by creating a laser satellite that could end the world with its activation. Proceeding with his standard calm diligence, Bond undertakes the mission while avoiding homosexual hitmen, confronting female martial arts fighters Bambi and Thumper, and conducting car chases through Las Vegas streets; all culminating in an epic scene atop an oil rig.
