Overview
When Kate and Leonardo arrive at a beautiful tropical island off the coast of Italy, everything is perfect. Everything, that is, except their marriage. While Leonardo is a practical man who focuses on the mundane aspects of life, Kate is a vibrant romantic who loves to muse about philosophy. As she researches for her next book, she quickly discovers that Leonardo leaves her longing. When a young, nineteen-year-old man named Caleb spies Kate, she's changed forever. Though she tries to resist, she can't help but succumb to his charms and his passionate recklessness. Thus begins an affair between the two of them that spills into all the exotic beauty of the island location.
