The "Enfield Poltergeist" case involved a single mother, Margaret Hodgson, whose four children began reporting strange occurrences: dressers moving, beds shaking, knocking sounds within the walls. Not to mention the levitation and flying toys.
At first, Margaret tries denouncing their complaints, convinced they are making things up. But as the unexplained situations escalate, she realizes that something sinister is happening. And it's not just in the home, two of the children claim that the poltergeist follows them. When Ed and Lorraine Warren step in to investigate, they surmise that it's not the house that is haunted, it's one of the children.
