Overview
Tai Chi is a martial art that has developed over many years. As with most other martial arts, there are several forms of Tai Chi and they all offer something very different. Yang Luchan lived during the 19th century and he was a devoted student of many different kinds of martial arts. As he started to develop his own style, he was putting together the many different elements of what would become the most popular form of Tai Chi in the 21st century. His story is set against the backdrop of the Luchan's struggles against the steampunk armies of China and his own physical limitations. He wants to use his inspirational story to help others and he winds up becoming a hero for centuries to come.
