Overview
Shirley married a politician named Barry because she thought that it would satisfy her sense of adventure. Shirley has never been what anyone would refer to as a normal thinker, and her five kids are convinced that they all have some form of mental illness. Barry is never home and Shirley thinks that Barry is cheating on her. After years of neglect and contemplation, Shirley starts to have a meltdown. To save his family, and his political career, Barry hires a young nanny named Shaz to get his family back under control. The children are easy to get back on track because Shaz terrifies them with the way she talks. But Shirley is a bit more of a challenge and Shaz may not be able to help her in the way that she helped the kids.
