The protagonist of this comedy drama, a man named Dave, revisits his hometown, the whaling and fishing village of Fairhaven, located on the southern coast of Massachusetts, when his father passes away. While there to attend to details surrounding his father's funeral, he has an impromptu reunion with two individuals who were important during his growing up years.
