Overview
The setting for the story is the 20th century. A lone, quiet resident of a village is viciously attacked by thugs and survives. The attack is so bad, his survival appears to be almost miraculous. In fact, it just seems to be too miraculous to at least one smart detective. The villager's act is seen as heroic to his family and the rest of the village, but the detective's keen eye arouses suspicion. Upon further investigation, the villager turns out to have a past that he is desperatly trying to leave behind. The plot takes a twist as we learn that the detective himself is carrying some bad baggage. The lives of the detective and the strange villager intertwine as each man follows his head and heart to do what must be done. Dragon was filmed in China.
