Stanley Grubb is a very boring man who hasn't done anything interesting in his life. He lives in a time when every person has a conscious shadow, and his shadow is very bold and adventurous. It's hard being an adventurous shadow to a man whose life is so dull, but things take a turn for the exciting when Stanley learns of a plot for an evil shadow to attempt world domination.
