Overview
When Nick's partner on the force murders him, he becomes a member of the Rest In Peace Department, a collective of deceased cops whose job it is to protect the living from the undead. While he works on fulfilling this duty, he searches for a way to bring his killer to justice. Meanwhile, he stumbles upon a dark discovery about the plans of the undead miscreants he seeks. Nick's greatest ally in his strange afterlife is his partner Roy, who hails from the 1800s. Meanwhile, his ex-partner and murderer Bobby Hayes is his greatest nemesis, and he realizes how much is at stake if Hayes is allowed to continue on his dangerous path. In fact, it could mean the very destruction of the entire world.
