Overview
Cleveland, Ohio isn't Wren's idea of an exciting neighborhood, but her life comes to an epiphany one dark, Halloween night. Her family has just suffered the loss of her father. Wren's mom seeks solace in the form of a new boyfriend, while Wren is left to look after her younger brother, Albert. For Halloween, Wren must take Albert out trick-or-treating. Armed with her best friend, April, the three set out on an unforgettable night. Albert becomes lost, forcing Wren and April to look for him while still trying to attend a popular party. With Wren's unknown crush, Roosevelt, helping them out, the two girls must comb the neighborhood for Albert. With a large chicken and unusual car problems adding up, Wren must find her brother before her mother finds out.
