Overview
Grant Cogswell is a jobless music critic who enjoys dressing as a polar bear. In this story, based on real events surrounding the 2001 Seattle City Council election, Cogswell struggles with his image and brings together a band of social pariahs in a desperate fight to beat the incumbent candidate. In this hilarious and inspiring story, Cogswell and his followers try to reclaim the city government, stand up for their beliefs, and build a monorail for the betterment of the city. Cogswell and his friends may have odd ways of getting things done, but at least they are doing something that matters.
