Overview
Carly Shay is a teenager who hosts her own web show from her home that she shares with her quirky older brother, Spencer. Her feisty best friend, Sam Puckett, co-hosts the popular iCarly web show, while her technologically advanced friend, Freddie Benson, videotapes them. The iCarly webcast includes hilarious comedy skits, inventive recipes, interviews, and random dancing. The group's friend, Gibby, is often the subject of jokes on the show and appears frequently on the iCarly webcast. The show deals with typical adolescent issues, like dating, first kisses, and bullying, but incorporates humor into every situation. The outlandish acts of the main characters along with their frequent heartfelt moments has made iCarly a favorite with both its teenage viewers and their parents.
