Peter and Lorna are a young couple who want to make their mark in the world of investigative journalism. For now, Peter works as a substitute teacher and Lorna takes small writing jobs just so the two can survive. When they hear about a cult run by a mysterious leader named Maggie, the two think they have found the perfect vehicle to launch their investigative journalism careers. Their plan is to infiltrate the cult, find out what they can about it, and then write an expose that will get them the attention they need to advance their careers. But they underestimated Maggie's charisma, and the two suddenly find themselves more involved in Maggie's cult world than they ever wanted to get. |
