Overview
Cyril is only 11 and he already knows how it feels to be abandoned. After his mother's death, his father wants a new start without Cyril and leaves him to live in the foster care system. Cyril searches for his father, wanting to retrieve not only his father, but his lost bike also. When Cyril is befriended by Samantha, a hairdresser, Cyril begins spending weekends with her. Although Samantha has found Cyril's bike and is trying to help him, Cyril feels that he must make his own way in life and ends up friends with a petty thief. Cyril must discover what can be in his life before he accidentally pushes Samantha right out of it.
