Overview
Alice Ayres arrives in London and shortly thereafter meets a man named Daniel who is an obituary journalist of mediocre talent, and they eventually end up moving in together. Dan, who decides that he wants to write a book, uses the life of Alice as inspiration. However, when working on the photography for the book that he is writing he meets Anna, another photographer. He decides to introduce his friend Larry, who is a dermatologist, to Anna, in hopes that they will hit it off. They do and are married soon afterward. However, unbeknownst to Alice and Larry, Dan and Anna suddenly find themselves in the middle of a passionate yet dangerous affair. Not only does this complicate their lives, but also the lives of Alice and Larry who they are married to.
