Overview
Along a stretch of highway far outside of Houston, a rash of unsolved murders leads the local law enforcement to bring in a New York City detective with a specialty in tracking serial killers. The hired detective becomes obsessed with finding the murderer after becoming fascinated and disgusted with the way the mauled bodies have been dumped in the swampy fields, while the local cop begins to fear that the case is getting out of hand. The killer ups the ante when he starts communicating with the detectives by leaving things behind at the crime scenes, and the two officers must race into action when a teen girl they’ve befriended may become the next victim.
