Overview
The show revolves around the maverick Detective Sergeant Tommy Murphy. This undercover cop has a dark past. Reeling over the death of his young daughter, he flees his past to work for the Metropolitan Police. He is given a dangerous undercover assignment as his last chance after he failed a psychiatric assessment. Things are twisted around for our protagonist who prefers to work on his own when he is given a partner for the assignment, Detective Inspector Annie Guthrie. Despite his ability to deal with everything on his own and pushing forward with nothing to lose, Tommy Murphy must figure out, for the sake of his career, how to work with Annie Guthrie. The London crime world isn't ready for this Irish cop, and it is possible that he isn't ready for London, either.
