Overview
Anton splits his time between his family in Denmark and his job as a physician at a war-torn camp in Africa. But the time away is putting a strain on his marriage and his two sons. He eldest son, 10-year old Elias, is being bullied at school. He is rescued by a new student named Christian and the two become close friends. Christian is dealing with family problems of his own and is having trouble dealing with his mother's recent death. Anton is drawn into two conflicts, one involving his son and anther in Africa, that tests his views on violence and revenge. Elias, meanwhile, is being drawn away from his father's influence by his friendship with Christian.
