Overview
A family and their close friend run a Las Vegas, Nevada pawn shop with style. The shop is big, modern and filled with everything from the routine to the extraordinary. Customers bring in items that are historical, interesting and sometimes just plain weird. Experts are often called in to look at everything from guitars purported to be owned by famous musicians to guns wielded by gunslingers of the Wild West days before the shop decides to make an offer. Some customers walk away with a big payoff while others find out their treasures are worthless. Rick Harrison along with his dad, his son Corey, and his longtime friend who goes by the nickname "Chumlee" have a unique chemistry and dynamic that is needed to run a pawn shop in the gambling capital of the world. Through all their years in business they have seen a lot of things come into the shop, but sometimes something new comes through the door that is potentially worth a fortune to a collector if it is the genuine article.
