Four deceitful, self-centered individuals run a decrepit Irish bar in Philadelphia. Each one of them is solely out for personal gain and has no fear of concocting dubious and contentious activities against each other and anyone else. They all exhibit some degree of selfishness, unethical behavior, greed and a generous lack of intelligence. They have no qualms about using blackmail to wreak physical, emotional and mental pain against other members of the gang. The gang is never united and would quickly abandon the other members for a quick profit with no concern for the consequences. In spite of their own lack of personal achievement, they are all obsessed with maintaining their personal images and reputations. Every scheme ends up with a lot of internal conflict and arguing and yelling at each other.
