Overview
Edwina Broome moves into the Widows' Peak neighborhood of 1920's Kilshannon. The Irish neighborhood is aptly named for its prevalent close-knit group of widows. The close-lipped Edwina quickly begins feuding with the only non-widow of the area, Miss O'Hare. None of the gossiping widows can seem to get any information on the two, even the clique's leader Mrs. Counihan. Godfrey, Mrs. Counihan's son, desperately seeks to court the newcomer, adding further tension to the uproar.
