A convicted murderer has escaped from prison and police officers Chris and Bill are given the task of keeping an eye on his ex-girlfriend Maria. When Chris disguises himself as a telephone company employee in order to bug the home for surveillance, he is smitten with Maria. Chris' partner Bill is forced to watch Chris lead a normal, happy life dating Maria while he is stuck doing the surveillance. When Bill and Chris are forced to leave the assignment to the next team, Chris decides to tell Maria the truth. As he does, the convict shows up on the scene putting Chris, Bill, and Maria at risk. |
