Overview
Rooster Cogburn has seen better days. The over the hill former U.S. Marshall has been relieved of his duties due to his unorthodox techniques and fondness for the bottle. But his unique talents come into play when he is persuaded to help out a small town in Indian Territory that is being harassed by a group of thugs and outlaws. Cogburn is reluctant to get involved, but the town's preacher has been murdered and his daughter, Eula Goodnight, is determined to get Cogburn's help. She wants to free the village and get her revenge, but Cogburn is wary of the gang and a dangerous wild card that the gang holds.
