Many people are afraid of the Boogeyman, but Tim takes his fear to the extreme. During a traumatic childhood event, Tim learned he had to protect himself against creatures such as the Boogeyman in order to survive. The Boogeyman had taken someone he cared about, and he never forgot about the incident or healed the wounds that came from it. In fact, he spent his childhood in a mental health facility from the damages of losing someone he loved. Despite all his precautions to stay safe from his childhood nemesis, he runs into someone else who must make efforts to escape the creature of the night. Two people need Tim’s help, and he struggles with whether to fight this creature, or give in to the idea that it may not be real. |
