Overview
Joe Ross is an engineer responsible for the creation of a secret new industrial process that promises to earn his company a great deal of money. While fearing that his boss, Mr. Klein, is going to shut him out of the benefits of his own labor, Joe meets and befriends a mysterious man named Jimmy Dell. As the signs point increasingly to Klein's intent to cheat Joe out of his deserved earnings, he asks the wealthy Jimmy for aid. Unfortunately for Joe, Jimmy is actually a con man working an intricate scheme to take the work for himself. Layers of intrigue unfold and Joe's life threatens to unravel if he can't escape from the plot in which he's trapped.
