Overview
Mrs. Brisby, a widowed field mouse, must seek the aid of various animals in order to save her dying son. She faces deadly obstacles in the farm she calls home as plowing season is coming early. She must also avoid farmer Fitzgibbons' fearsome cat, the beast that ate her husband, who is constantly on the prowl. A great and wise owl helps to guide her path and leads her to a colony of escaped lab rats. Amongst her new friends she discovers secrets that may lead to a cure for her boy.
