Overview
Wayne Dobie is a Chicago police photographer so mind-mannered that his fellow officers have given him the ironic nickname of "Mad Dog." But Dobie's quiet life gets turned sideways when he gets involved with the wrong side of the law trying to do the right thing. While disrupting a hold-up, Wayne inadvertently saves the life of a crime lord named Frank Milo. Frank is so grateful to Wayne that he sends a young female bartender, Glory, to spend the week with him. Glory only agrees to spend time with Wayne because she's under Frank's control, and Wayne is reluctant to accept Frank's gift. But when the two begin to fall for each other, Wayne tries to find a way to free Glory from Frank's grasp.
