Ginny Grainger does not have the Christmas spirit this year. Her family is broke, in part because her idealistic husband nourishes his dreams instead of doing what is most practical to keep his family in a good financial situation. Her son is starting to have serious doubts about Santa Claus, but her daughter fervently believes, and she insists that she has spoken to an angel. That angel is about to give Ginny a lesson in what truly makes life wonderful. Using very dramatic means, he demonstrates to Ginny that what is most precious in her life is her husband and children, and if she has them, she can handle any hardship that may come her way. She may manage to catch the spirit after all. |
