Overview
A professional animal-catcher and his crew capture wild animals in Africa for display in zoos throughout the world. Assisted by a contingent of local men, they use utility vehicles to pursue target animals across open terrain to the point of exhaustion. Some animals are more easily subdued than others. Rigorous pursuits are followed by potentially dangerous captures. A larger rhinoceros directs its provoked aggression toward the crew and their vehicles during a chase. The introduction of a female photographer shifts the relational dynamics of the previously all-male team, and a mutual interest develops between her and the lead game-hunter. The scenery of northern Tanzania serves as a natural backdrop as zoo animals are initially forced into submission.
