Overview
In 2019 entertainment is a popular TV show called The Running Man. It is a macabre game show that pits convicted criminals against each other. During the live broadcast the convicts must run for their lives. If they live, they are given a pardon and freed. Former police pilot Ben Richards escapes from a labor camp after a wrongful conviction. Richards is captured after joining a resistance movement and forced to become a running man on the show. The resistance seeks to expose the truth. Richards manages to kill one stalker, which shocks the host and audience. The resistance must find the network uplink. Two more fierce stalkers are unleashed. Richards needs to make it to the control room before running out of time.
