Auto dealer Ben Selleck is desperate when his business begins to go under. His main competitor offers to buy the lot, but only if there are no cars left on it. Don Ready arrives with his forceful sales team, promising Ben that he can sell his inventory by the end of the weekend. At first, Don uses conventional gimmicks like food promotions to sell the cars. He later turns to other methods, including outright lies and riot sales. The team's success is put in jeopardy when Don falls for Ben's daughter and becomes discouraged when she doesn't return his feelings.
