Overview
The gritty reality of living and working in a big city with steel manufacturing and coal mining at its roots permeates this police thriller. Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania has three rivers running through it that meet at Point State Park. Law enforcement in this city includes River Police who patrol the area in boats. When Detective Tom Hardy thinks a serial killer is a police officer, it causes him to get knocked down in the ranks to river patrolman. However, the killer clearly has plans to include Tom when the body of one of Tom's former girlfriends is found dumped in one of the rivers he patrols. Though demoted, Detective Harding uses his new position to search for the killer.
