Overview
Allie lives in a New York apartment building and has recently suffered a breakup with her boyfriend. She eventually takes on a new roommate named Hedy and finds comfort in having someone new around. However, this soon progresses into a creepy sort of mimicry when Hedy begins dressing like Allie and even cuts her hair to match. It becomes clear that Hedy is suffering from separation anxiety after the death of her sister and is trying to fill the void with Allie. They discover that she has done this in the past, and she actually killed her last roommate. Eventually, Hedy is confronted and responds violently and tries to kill Allie. She is unsuccessful and ends up being strangled by Allie in self defense.
