This story, which is set during the second world war, is centered around Oskar Schindler. Oskar is a German businessman who worries that the Jewish people who work for him are being persecuted, attacked, and killed by the Nazi regime. Despite being depicted as greedy, vain, and only in business to make huge profits, Schindler is transformed by the events he witnessed. No longer caring only about his business, Schindler begins a mission to save as many Jews as he can from the Nazi regime. With his factory transformed into a safe house for Jews in the community, Schindler manages to save more than a 1000 people from the cruel fate of a gas chamber. Not only is this a story that depicts the tortures faced by Jews during World War II, it highlights that even the most selfish and cruel individuals can find it in their hearts to care for others.
