Overview
Strange man-child Pee-Wee Herman's prize possession is his bike. Every day he wakes to a Rube-Goldberg world full of wonder and fun, but nothing delights him as much as that cherry red treasure, upon which he faces the world. His world is rocked, though, when envious rich kid Francis Buxton steals his bike, and then in a fit of guilt gets rid of it. Devastated but determined, Pee-Wee sets off on a journey across America to find it. Along the way he meets a cast of bizarre characters who by turns terrify or befriend him, culminating in a daring rescue and recovery attempt.
