Overview
After a ceremonial elephant is killed by the Viet Cong, it is up to a group of American soldiers to replace the lost elephant so that a local South Vietnamese village can have a traditional protection ceremony. Finding and delivering the elephant is far more difficult than the Americans originally thought it would be since the Viet Cong seems to be almost everywhere. Eventually, the group come up with a plan to safely deliver the elephant to the village.
