Based on Nicholas Spark’s book with the same name, this movie tells the story Theresa Osborne who discovers a bottle on the beach of Cape Cod. Inside is a poignant love letter addressed to Catherine from Garret. Intrigued, she uses her skills as a reporter and tracks down two additional letters written by the same person, and then even the man who wrote the letters, Garret Blake, a boater who lives in North Carolina. As Theresa and Garret begin to be better acquainted, she learns who Catherine is, but also begins to develop a long-distance relationship with Garret herself. She doesn’t tell him she knows about the letters. Will their relationship survive with such big secrets and his past looming over them? |
