Overview
Andy Kaufman lives a strange and unappreciated life. Although he became a wildly successful comedian thanks to his performance on television show Taxi, he strives to become known as a serious and deliberate actor. This desire manifests itself in strange ways, like when he decides to join the World Wrestling Federation as a professional wrestler who only challenges women. During one of his matches, he is challenged by another male wrestling, Jerry the King Lawler, and sustains an injury. Andy soon reveals that the whole thing is a gag for laughs that Jerry is in on, but he is disappointed when he discovers that no one else is laughing.
