Overview
Major Benson Payne has just been discharged from the Marines. Benson is so acclimated to Marine and military life that he doesn't know how to cope as a civilian. To help him ease into civilian life but maintain a bit of militarism, his commander finds him a job: commanding the JROTC group at the local school. This group has no discipline or confidence. Benson manages to whip them into shape using military tactics such as live grenades and ammunition. The group is just starting to believe in themselves when Benson gets recalled to serve in Bosnia. He has a choice - does he go back to his beloved Marine Corps, or does he stay committed to this JROTC group that has attached itself to him?
