Jason works hard in a television repair shop to help support his mother, with whom he lives, and his younger brother Joshua, who has just been released from prison. His life changes when his soul mate, Lyric, walks into his shop. With her help, he begins to deal with his past, including the nightmares that haunt him that he was somehow involved in the death of his father. Jason and Lyric make plans to escape the inner city and start a new life, but their plans are thrown into chaos when Joshua is badly beaten in a bank robbery gone awry. Although their mother encourages him to leave, Jason feels he must take care of his family. His loyalties are put to the ultimate test when he find Joshua threatening Lyric at gunpoint, and he must choose between his brother and the love of his life. |
