Overview
Hannah, Lee and Holly are sisters with tangled and closely connected lives. Hannah, a successful actress who has followed in the footsteps of their dramatic parents, is married to Elliot. Elliot is having a secret affair with her sister Lee, although Lee is in a long-term relationship with an older artist named Frederick. Holly, the youngest, is a former drug addict and a struggling writer. Her own acting career having failed, she tries her hand at catering before becoming a writer. The play she is working on reveals details about Elliot and Lee's relationship, but she gives up the play for Hannah’s sake. In the end, she marries Hannah’s first husband, a nervous hypochondriac who is trying to learn to enjoy life.
